Climate change, unsustainable resource use and increasingly inequitable access to the benefits of economic development are some of the major challenges that have to be tackled on a global scale. Issues of sustainability and social responsibility will affect everyone’s career in the future.

Generations is a way of harnessing the hearts, minds and imaginations of the La Trobe community and communities around us to make sustainability and social responsibility a central concern to everything we do.
We want to see sustainability principles embedded in the DNA of La Trobe University – through the design of our curriculum, the focus of our research, the environment we live in and the careers we inspire.
